Pune Warriors is owned by Sahara Group. Sahara Adventure Sports Limited had made the winning bid of $370 million for the Pune franchise which is also the highest bid by any company in the history of IPL.
Pune Warrior’s logo has a spear wielding warrior on a stallion, with a 'jiretop' on his head, with the team's name next to it. The team colors are saffron, white and green.
Pune Warriors In 2011 IPL Season
Pune Warriors will make its debut in this season of IPL 2011. The team is looking good with great quality of players. Pune Warriors have to play to fourteen matches in this season and will start their campaign against Kings XI Punjab on 10th April.
